Aarambh is a parent organisational and note-taking journal for observations, activities and resources about a child’s developmental journey. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, screen for or treat autism spectrum conditions or replace clinical care. This policy describes what the app actually does with information today. Items in highlighted brackets are details we are still finalising.
Who we are
Aarambh is operated by SAI SUYASH VENTURES (operating unit Sai Suyash Digital Services), Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-MP-40-0053092, a Micro Enterprise registered with the Government of India. Official address: House No. 155, Pep Tech City, Sohawal, Satna, Madhya Pradesh 485001, India. Contact and grievance officer email: saisuyashventures@gmail.com; phone/helpline: +91 7388761613. The individual grievance officer’s name has not yet been supplied.
Who the app is for
Accounts are for adults — parents, legal guardians and caregivers — and, separately, for professionals who apply for a coach profile. Children do not use Aarambh themselves. When you create an account you confirm that you are an adult and authorised to provide information about the child. Parental or guardian permission is required before you provide a child’s information; verifiable consent is required where applicable law demands it. We record your confirmation and its date, but do not independently verify your identity or relationship to the child. If additional verifiable parental consent is required in your jurisdiction (including under COPPA), do not submit the child’s data until you contact us. You decide what to record; please add only what is useful.
Information we collect
- Account: email address, name, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) or Google sign-in identity, and an internal user ID.
- Adult/guardian confirmation: the date and time you confirmed.
- Child profile: the child’s name, optional date of birth and optional notes you type.
- Videos you upload of your child (up to 25 MB), with an optional title, context note and date.
- AI-generated observation notes created from those videos: a summary, positive moments, points to discuss with a professional and general activity ideas. These relate to a child’s development and we treat them as sensitive, health-related information.
- Chats: questions you ask the child-notes assistant and the parent support companion, and the AI replies.
- Session requests you send to professionals, and their replies.
- Community content: posts, comments, and optional video, audio or voice-note attachments you choose to share, plus reports and blocks you make.
- Professional material: for coaches, the profile, contact details and credentials text they submit with their application, which becomes visible to parents once the application is verified.
- Subscription records: Razorpay customer, plan, subscription and payment IDs, status and renewal date. We never receive your full card or bank details.
- Free-trial usage: start date and number of analyses used.
- In-app events: a small set of first-party events (for example “billing page viewed”, “trial started”, “checkout opened”) linked to your user ID, used to understand sign-up and conversion.
- Error reports: when the app crashes, technical error details (message, page, browser information) may be sent to our hosting provider to help us fix it.
- Location (optional): only if you tap “Use my location” on Therapies near me; it is used in your browser to open a Google Maps search and is not stored by us.
- Microphone (optional): only when you tap “Record a voice note” in Community.
We do not use advertising and do not include advertising SDKs.
How we use it
- To run your account and keep each family’s records private to them.
- To produce AI observation notes from videos you upload and to answer chat questions you ask.
- To let professionals you deliberately share with view clips and write notes.
- To run the community, including moderation of reported content.
- To process subscriptions and the free trial.
- To fix errors and understand, in aggregate, how people move from sign-up to subscription.
AI processing
When you upload a video, the video, the child’s date of birth (if given) and your context note are sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to a Google Gemini model to write observation notes. The child’s name is not sent with the video. When you use the chat assistants, your question, recent chat history, the child’s date of birth and notes, and saved AI observation notes are sent through the same gateway to an OpenAI model.
We do not use your content to train our own models. Whether and how the underlying AI providers retain or use requests is governed by their terms with our gateway provider — [CONFIRM PROVIDER RETENTION / NO-TRAINING TERMS].
AI output is observational, can be incomplete or wrong, and is not an assessment, diagnosis, screening result or treatment recommendation. Aarambh is not a medical device or substitute for clinical care.
Who can see your information
- Only you, by default, for child profiles, videos, AI notes and chats. Access is enforced by database access rules.
- Professionals listed on the app: professionals apply with their profile and contact details; once verified, they are listed so parents can contact them directly for additional guidance. Coaches and mentors are independent, not employees of SAI SUYASH VENTURES. A coach badge means Aarambh reviewed the application they submitted; it does not mean their licence was verified. Aarambh does not take responsibility for the guidance a coach provides.
- Other signed-in users see community posts and comments you choose to publish, with the name on your profile. Private child records are never posted automatically.
- AI assistants you connect (for example through the Model Context Protocol) can read your children, observations and AI notes after you sign in and approve access.
- Our administrators can see coach applications, community reports and aggregate conversion figures. Privileged access for support is possible through our hosting provider [CONFIRM INTERNAL ACCESS POLICY].
We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
- Lovable / Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase): hosting, database, authentication, file storage, AI gateway and error reporting.
- Google (Gemini via the gateway) for video analysis; Google sign-in if you choose it; Google Maps when you open a therapy search.
- OpenAI (via the gateway) for chat replies.
- Razorpay for payments, under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp / your device share sheet, only when you choose to share notes or recipes.
- A public currency exchange-rate service to show approximate local prices (no personal data is sent).
Where data is stored and international transfers
Data is stored with our hosting provider in [CONFIRM HOSTING REGION]. AI and payment providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Retention and deletion
- Raw uploaded videos: processed to produce developmental observation notes for your journal. By default, the file is deleted after notes are successfully saved. If you turn automatic deletion off, analysis fails, or deletion fails, it remains until you delete the clip, the child or your account. Saved notes remain until you delete them.
- Everything else is kept while your account is open, until you delete it.
- Account deletion (Dashboard → Account → Delete account, or by email) is immediate and removes your profile, children, observations, notes, chats, community posts and comments, stored media, subscription and trial records, events, and your login. Any active subscription is cancelled first.
- Razorpay keeps its own payment records as required by law. Short-lived backups held by our hosting provider may contain deleted data until they expire [CONFIRM BACKUP PERIOD].
Security
Records are protected by per-user database access rules, private storage buckets and short-lived (one-hour) signed links for media playback. Secret keys stay on the server. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your information in the app, turn automatic video deletion on or off, delete individual posts, and exercise your right to request erasure by deleting your account from the dashboard or emailing us. You can also email us to request access or correction. Depending on where you live, rights may arise under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the GDPR or COPPA; their applicability and any required verification depend on your location and circumstances. Copies in provider backups or legally retained payment records may persist as described above.
Changes
We will update this page and the date above before any material change takes effect.
